校友全球活动概览

Once known as the 'Riviera of the Orient,' Hong Kong's natural scenery inspired generations of artists.  Trekking to rural areas without the modern convenience of subway, artists of yesteryear also contributed to the rise of local tourism with their unconventional perspectives on various sites.  Mr. Mark R. Barnekow, Executive Director of the University of Chicago Francis and Rose Yuen Campus in Hong Kong, and Professor Josh Yiu, Director of CUHK Art Museum will show us incredible paintings of old Hong Kong from the 1940s to 1970s created by both renowned and forgotten artists. Join us to check out their instagram-worthy hideouts.  

香港曾被譽為東方著名的海濱渡假勝地，自然景色賦予不同世代的藝術家豐富的創作靈感。昔日前往郊外遠足雖然沒有現代交通工具的便利，但藝術家依然走遍郊野，以獨特眼光俯仰山水，更促進了本地旅遊業的發展。中文大學文物館館長姚進莊教授將與芝加哥大學袁天凡、慧敏香港校園的行政總監馬克．巴乃軻先生，對談討論昔日或著名或佚名的藝術家以香江入畫的精彩作品。讓我們一起回顧舊日的筆跡，從中找尋香港各處優美的風景。
